A multi-academy trust is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Swindon to partner with teachers and improve student learning and independence. This role involves covering lessons, supporting teachers, and leading parts of lessons while managing Teaching Assistants. Candidates should possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, along with excellent communication skills and resilience. The role of the HLTA is to work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The role provides support to students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement. This role will focus on supporting our upper KS2.
