Job Description:

We are looking for an inspirational Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and collaborative team. You will assist in delivering engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis, and in small groups. Working with the teacher, you will help develop appropriate resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.

This is a fixed-term contract ending on 31st August 2026.

This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire children and make a real difference. We value passion and commitment to our mission: ensuring every child, regardless of background, receives high-quality education, over just experience as a HLTA.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A great communicator who builds positive relationships with children
  • Understanding of educational, welfare, and social needs of children

  • Calm and fair in approach
  • Committed to raising achievement for all students
  • Passionate about helping children reach their academic potential

We prioritize employee wellbeing and career development, offering:

  • Opportunities for career progression into teaching
  • A friendly, supportive environment with work-life balance
  • Participation in exciting development and innovative change
  • Access to resources and materials
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Widerwallet discount program
  • Free eye tests
  • Employee Assistance Programme for confidential advice on health, financial, and other issues
