Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Derby, DE21

Location: DE21, Derby

Pay Rate: £440 - £480 take home per week after deductions

Contract: Full-time, long-term placement

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 15.30

Start Date: Immediate start

Role Responsibilities
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Providing targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
  • Supporting positive behaviour, focus, and engagement in lessons.
  • Covering classes to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and wider pastoral team.
What We17re Looking For
  • Ideally, a HLTA qualification (or equivalent secondary experience).
  • Confident supporting KS3/KS4 pupils.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
