Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Remote Hiab Driver to join our team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Hiab crane (remote‑controlled) to load and unload materials, making timely deliveries to multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a remote‑controlled Hiab crane to load and unload goods for delivery.
• Complete 5‑10 deliveries per day, ensuring goods are securely transported.
• Navigate the route efficiently, ensuring all deliveries are made on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the vehicle.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, ensuring the Hiab crane and vehicle are in good working condition.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding any delays or changes in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 25.
• Valid UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 5 years.
• Experience operating a remote‑controlled Hiab crane (essential).
• Maximum of 3 penalty points on your driving licence (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of road safety, traffic laws, and delivery procedures.
• Ability to carry out basic vehicle checks and maintain equipment.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to assist with manual handling as needed.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• 5‑10 drops per day.
• Full‑time, permanent role.
