Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
  • Full Driving Licence (HGV Licence beneficial but not essential).
  • Experience with DAF or similar vehicles is advantageous.

Overview

Position: HGV Technician
Location: Tamworth, B77 1LF
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (45 hours/week, 30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Salary: OTE £50,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Perform servicing and repairs on HGVs, following manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Accurately diagnose defects and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational goals.
  • Proactively solve technical problems to maintain a smooth workflow in the workshop.
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring clear documentation of repair processes and progress.
  • Follow company procedures, meet or exceed targets, identify opportunities for improvement, and participate in ongoing training.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
  • Full Driving Licence (HGV Licence beneficial but not essential).
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with DAF or similar vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Team player with clear communication skills.
