Job summary

A leading environmental services provider in Norfolk is seeking a dedicated HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader. In this role, you will drive a pre-planned route, collecting waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence, be physically fit, and have a positive attitude. Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence & Driver CPC.
• Be physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business.
• Be a team player and willing to go the extra mile.

• Ensure vehicle safety checks are completed before setting out.

Working hours : Monday - Friday 6am - with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.

As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver / Loader in our North Norfolk team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Norfolk. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.

You’ll be entrusted to:

• You will set off on a pre planned route as the driver with your tean of Loaders youare working withcollecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
• Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
