Job description

Overview

We are looking for a HGV class 1 night driver for double-decker trunks (depot to depot or depot to hubs). Pallet-hub experience would be advantageous but not essential.

We are offering

• Weekday evening shifts
• Starts around 1800/1900.
• A simple registration process for HGV drivers.
• On-going work with a well know and reputable company.
• 17-18.5 per hour PAYE
• 19 per hour LTD

Essential requirements

• Valid HGV class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence. Held for a minimum of 1 years.
• Some HGV driving experience in the UK.
• Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• The ability to strap heavy pallets to ensure load safety.
• Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
• Over 25 for insurance purposes.
• No more than 6 points on your licence. No DR codes and no CU80 codes.
