HGV Driver

Our prestigious new client based in Coleshill is looking for 2 temporary‑to‑permanent vacancies for an experienced HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 driver.

Responsibilities

• 0600 start
• Driving a curtain‑sided vehicle
• Deliveries of general haulage to sites across the Midlands
• Between 8 to 12 drops per day
• All loads are palletised, therefore the use of a tail lift/manual pump truck is required
• No planned nights out

Qualifications

• A valid HGV2/LGV2/Category C/Class 2 driving licence
• A valid DCPC card
• A valid digital tachograph card
• Minimum 12 months on‑road experience

Benefits

• Basic annual salary of £32,853 based on a 45‑hour week plus overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal rate for any hours over 9 per day
• On‑site ADR and Manual Handling training provided
• 6‑month probation period
• 4 weeks holiday (plus bank holidays) but 5 weeks after 4 years of employment
