Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Band 3 Emergency Healthcare Assistant to join their nursing team in Poole. The candidate must have experience in an Emergency department and will work as part of a team to provide dignified and compassionate care. Healthcare Support Worker – Emergency Department

The closing date is 29 December 2025

We are looking for experienced Band 3 Emergency HCA's to join our nursing team at UHD. The candidate should have experience and evidence of working in an Emergency department and have completed their Band 3 nursing competencies or equivalent. They should be an excellent communicator, be able to work well as part of a team and autonomously.

This role requires ED competency booklet completed

Please note we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital

Interview Date: 6th January 2026

Main duties of the job

To work as an effective member of the team under the supervision and direction of a registered health care professional, providing dignified, compassionate and safe care for patients whilst ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.
