About the job Healthcare Assistant-Male (Non Sponsored)

We are seeking experiencedHealthcare Assistant(Male) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in healthcare, a genuine passion for helping others, and the ability to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents with varying needs, including those with learning disabilities, dementia, and autism.
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, meal times, and social interactions.
  • Administer medications and ensure proper documentation in line with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and well-being.
  • Participate in care planning and review meetings.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a work permit visa with no restrictions to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience as a senior support worker or in a similar role within a care home/nursing home setting.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of residents with learning disabilities, dementia, and autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized.
  • No sponsorship is available for this position.
  • Preferred candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to Streatham.
