The Dermatology Partnership is a growing group of private clinics who are trusted experts in dermatology and are now part of Bupa Health Services. We transform peoples lives by providing outstanding dermatology care. For this role we are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Oxford. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.

Duties and responsibilities include
  • Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
  • Venesection
  • Wound checks dressing change and suture removal post-surgery
  • Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
  • Daily clinic checks
  • Maintaining stock
  • Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
  • Ensuring clinical audits policies procedures and medical governance standards
Skills and Qualifications
  • Care Certificate or higher
  • A real passion for patient care and delivering
  • A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
  • Good communicator and team player
