A market‑leading Principal Contractor are looking for you to join a flagship scheme in Northwest Wales as Health & Safety Manager. Due to the nature of the hazards, you will have experience in major civil engineering including tunnelling and heavy M&E. The project is a future‑facing Energy scheme and a chance to be part of creating an important legacy in the region.
You will be responsible for the provision of arrangements for competent advice and support, ensuring effective assurance is in place, internal and client requirements are met and safe behaviours are promoted. You will take a lead on investigations, providing direction and guidance to investigators in the team and being responsible for approvals and liaison with clients. This is a leadership role, therefore a willingness and ability to provide challenge and focus on continuous improvements whilst ensuring alignment with HSQE strategy and procedures is required. They are paying £75‑80,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus accommodation and travel allowance and full package.
