Job summary

A leading consultancy in talent acquisition is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to lead their health and safety function. The role involves ensuring compliance with UK health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety procedures. Essential qualifications include a NEBOSH certificate and membership in IOSH. The successful candidate will promote health and safety culture while managing various H&S activities across multiple locations. This is a hybrid role based in London, offering £225 per day.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience working in IT services or consultancy.
• Experience with ISO 14001/ISO 50001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve H&S policies and management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Lead investigations into incidents and maintain records.
• Design safety training programs for all staff.
• Carry out site inspections to assess compliance.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001

Education
