A regional transport authority in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to ensure compliance and improve health and safety processes. The role involves managing a team, providing expert advice, and developing the Health and Safety Strategy. Ideal candidates should have a NEBOSH Diploma and experience in multi-disciplinary environments. The position offers a supportive atmosphere and is integral to fostering a proactive safety culture.
We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to support all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing across WMCA. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the organisation meets its legal obligations while fostering a positive and proactive safety culture.
You’ll provide expert advice and guidance, helping to continuously improve our health and safety management systems, processes, and compliance monitoring. With a broad remit across the organisation, you’ll contribute to audits, risk assessments, and strategic initiatives that promote wellbeing and ensure a safe working environment for all.
You’ll also be managing two HSE advisors and a HSE technician. So, if you’re passionate about driving high standards, influencing positive change, and making a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.
