Overview

Are you ready to open the door to a brand-new career at DoorCo Thorne, Doncaster? Our role of Health, Safety and Quality Advisor is a brand new role for the Thorne, Doncaster site. Shortlisting for this role will be immediate, and successful candidates will be contacted quickly to organise an interview. At DoorCo we work hard for our customers whilst having fun with our team colleagues. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed health, safety & quality advisor to join our great team at our new operation in Thorne, Doncaster.

As a member of the team, you’ll sit at the heart of one of our essential operations, completing a range of tasks including but not limited to managing your own workload in a busy manufacturing and distribution environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards and company policies
  • Risk assessments
  • Delivering training
  • Inspection and auditing
  • Incident investigation and reporting
  • Working with the team to ensure that all goods produced are to a high standard
  • Support the operational team by creating Quality boards to visually show standards
  • Support a programme of continuous quality improvement
  • Create performance metric reports
  • Support the operational team in maintaining high levels of quality in supplied materials
  • Liaise with the procurement team and quality teams as needed at head office
  • Record and monitor supplier quality levels and support our suppliers in projects
  • Take a lead in making Quality visible to the business
