Qualifications

  • Leading and improving HSE policies, systems & practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations & company standards.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture across all teams.
  • Developing training programmes, risk assessments & incident investigations.
  • Driving continuous improvement in safety & environmental performance.
  • Auditing, analysing & reporting environmental data to external bodies.
  • Supporting staffing, training & workforce planning as the role develops.

Overview

We're hiring for a Health & Safety Manager to join a long-established manufacturing business based in Stockport. You'll be part of the management team, driving HSE compliance and continuous improvement across a 24/7 operation — with scope to expand into HR and recruitment over time.
