Job summary

A leading medical equipment manufacturer seeks an experienced HSE Consultant for an on-site role in Stratford-upon-Avon. The position offers a rate of £400 per day for an initial contract of 4 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, engaging stakeholders, and leading new initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a NEBOSH Diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial environment.

  • A strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety and environment legislation.

Overview

HSE Consultant - Stratford-upon-Avon
Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
2-3 days per week - On Site
4-6 Months - Potential for extension

Are you a Health and Safety contractor based in Warwickshire/Worcestershire and ready for your next contract role? If so, this could be your next opportunity with a leading medical equipment manufacturer currently seeking a HSE Consultant.

This is a key role supporting the site leadership team, with an initial contract of 4 to 6 months and the potential to extend. You’ll be stepping into a critical period for the business, carrying out an initial gap analysis, strengthening environmental compliance and preparing the site for important upcoming audits.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for health, safety, and environment
  • Engaging across the site to drive improvement within health, safety, and environment
  • Auditing safety, health, and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff, and external regulators
  • Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment compliance and performance
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or industrial environment
  • Degree qualified with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and membership of IOSH
  • Proven environmental management experience and experience with ISO 14001
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders
  • A strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety and environment legislation
