Job summary

A national consultancy firm is seeking a passionate Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support their growing team. Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We offer services including Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, & Health & Safety Training.

We are seeking a passionate Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Health & Safety audits and reviews of safe working practices
  • Perform fire risk assessments for various properties
  • Carry out independent site inspections
  • Assist in creating risk assessments and method statements
  • Prepare policy documentation
  • Deliver safety training courses
  • Provide advice and support to clients
  • Help with SSIP accreditation applications and tender documentation
  • Undertake specialist surveys and assessments (qualification dependent)

Qualifications:

Minimum NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate or equivalent. Membership in IOSH/IFE is advantageous. P402 asbestos surveying certificate is desirable. Experience in providing H&S consultancy and fire risk assessments in a customer-facing role is preferred.

Additional Details:

This role is home-based, primarily servicing clients nationwide, with occasional overnight stays. A full driving license is required due to travel requirements.
