We're seeking an experienced senior leader to oversee waste operations for a major UK authority, managing 650,000+ tonnes annually across recycling centres, transfer stations, and closed landfill sites, with a workforce of 200+ staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Manage budgets of ~£90m and multi-million-pound contracts.
  • Line manage 7 direct reports and oversee all operational staff.
  • Deliver projects, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Chartered Waste Manager (MCIWM) with senior leadership experience.
