Job description
Overview

The University has ambitious plans and is in a period of exciting and rapid growth. Digital is central to this, and a brand new and far-reaching digital vision is being developed to support and enable this collective ambition.

Role

The Head of User Experience and Engagement will be at the heart of this, ensuring that the university community are informed and engaged in their digital future and can make best use of existing and future digital tools and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Be passionate about ensuring that user experience is at the heart of everything we do and that all digital services are intuitive and easy to work with.
  • Test and improve services through the collection and analysis of user feedback via surveys such as the Jisc Digital Insights and NSS, making recommendations for improvements and reporting on how we compare to the wider sector.
  • Lead by example within Digital Services, working with all teams and as a member of the Digital Services leadership team to demonstrate the values and behaviours of the staff charter.
  • Ensure that all digital services staff demonstrate those values and behaviours in their everyday activities.
