Responsibilities
  • Define the School's curriculum and ensure teaching strategies address the diverse needs of students and stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that foster an innovative academic environment, empowering staff and students.
  • Report to the Pro Vice Chancellor of Education and drive exceptional performance across teaching, research, and community engagement.
  • Craft a high-quality, relevant curriculum and align it with the institution's standards and strategies.
  • Lead the strategic roadmap for the School, ensuring alignment with the YSJ Strategy and Frameworks.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance student outcomes and institutional performance across metrics.
  • Ensure the curriculum is rigorous, meets high standards of quality and compliance, and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration with other schools and departments.
  • Represent the School and advocate for its mission within the university and the broader community.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity, encourages new ideas, and mentors academic colleagues to support robust academic scrutiny across programs.
