ROLE: Head of Sales - Used Car Dealership
SALARY: Up to £70,000 basic (£100k OTE)
LOCATION: Multi-site (Car Supermarket Environment)

With over 1,300 cars sold every month, this organisation operates at true high‑volume scale and is known for its strong commercial focus, fast‑paced environment, and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Sales to lead and develop the sales function across multiple sites – driving volume, profitability, and team performance.

Working Hours
  • 42.5 hours per week
  • 5 days a week, including Saturdays
Duties
  • Drive volume, revenue, and profitability across all dealership sites
  • Develop and execute a high‑performing sales strategy
  • Head, coach, and motivate a large sales team to consistently achieve targets
  • Monitor and manage performance using key KPIs and data insights
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience and drive repeat business
  • Maximise finance and value‑added product penetration
  • Oversee stock presentation standards and manage aged inventory
  • Utilise CRM and digital tools to streamline and enhance the sales process
The Candidate
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior automotive sales leadership role
  • Experience within a high‑volume dealership or car supermarket environment
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profit targets
  • Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills
  • Commercially astute with strong data‑driven decision‑making ability
  • Solid understanding of the used car market and customer buying behaviours
  • Competent with CRM and lead management systems
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results‑focused approach
