A leading logistics firm in Crewe is seeking a Head of Sales to lead a team of up to 70 FTE. You will be responsible for budget management, developing sales targets, and enhancing the customer journey. Ideal candidates will have experience in senior sales management, strong team building skills, and a passion for achieving company goals. The role ofHead of Sales iscrucial to the growth and overall success of the business. You willbe responsible fortheleadershipof up to70FTEincluding first and 2ndline managers, primarily responsible for prospecting,selling,and onboarding new to group customers.

Developing weekly / monthly / quarterlytargets for the department that deliver on the requiredbudgets.
Finding growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements and product mix arecritical.
Oversee the recruitment,onboarding,and L&D cycleacross all operational businesslevels.
Work cross-departmentally to refine and improve the customerjourney.
Regularly review MI toidentifyand action areas of improvementagainstthe departmentbudget.Reporting back to the business regularly on department successes and challenges.
Utilise the business CRM tools and create plans that trulyimpactKey business performanceindicators.
Succession plan by improving those around whilst searching for best-in-class talent to join theteam.
Engage your teamonKPI’s thatimpactthe wider groupsuch as cross-sell.
Strong teambuilding skills and an ability to build effective relationships with customersand internalstakeholders.
Able todemonstratea 'common sense' approach to problem solving in the salesenvironment.
Enthusiastic self-starter, driven by the intent to succeed and achieve companygoals.
Strong communicationskillsand ability to engage a large workforce with creativenewideas.
Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office packagesand business CRM platforms such as Salesforce
