Job summary

A global sporting organisation is seeking a Head of Operations to manage venue operations and lead the planning and delivery of events in the Essex/Cambridge/East Midlands area. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 5 heads of departments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Applicants should have experience in large-scale event management and hold NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications. This role offers a salary of £70-80k plus bonus.

Qualifications

  • Experience working for a global sport or venue.
  • Proven experience planning and delivering large-scale events.
  • Experience managing Capex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the venue operations strategy for the business.
  • Organise and deliver all events and racing.
  • Oversee maintenance of facilities and ensure health & safety compliance.
  • Manage a team of 5 in the operations department.
