An innovative new charity at the heart of central Woking is searching for a proactive and visionary Head of Operations. This ground-breaking start up organisation, founded by a successful entrepreneur, is dedicated to supporting every facet of neurodiverse individuals’ lives, helping them flourish physically, emotionally, and socially. By providing tailored access to vital resources and services, the charity aims to empower people to grow in independence, engage fully with their local community, and reach their true potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the first feet on the ground, reporting into the founder.
  • Oversee all day-to-day operations.
  • Identify specialist service providers and resources for signposting.
  • Recruit and collaborate with the Care and Support Manager (CSM).
  • Develop flexible service user templates in collaboration with the CSM.
  • Focus on fundraising and income generation, engaging private sector organisations with ESG commitments.
  • Build relationships with third-sector organisations for collaboration.
  • Promote the charity to potential volunteers and organise social events.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience in the charity sector.
  • Experience with both fundraising and operations oversight.
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Tech-savvy, with social media and financial management skills being a bonus.

The role will ultimately be based in Woking, although the owner is open to hybrid working, alongside being flexible with hours. The owner is open to candidates looking to work either part time or full time, between 3 and 5 days a week.
