40 Hours per week

Responsible For: Regional Managers, Registered Managers, Senior Education Managers

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

· Define and execute theoperational visionfor adult and children’s services, aligning with CQC/OfSTED standards.

· Driveperformance improvementthrough audits, data analysis, and change initiatives.

· Leadlarge-scale transformation projects—fromservice redesigntonew regulatory frameworks

Regulatory Compliance:

· Act as theNominated Individual (CQC)and ensureOfSTED readinessacross children’s services.

· Embed aculture of continuous improvementacross multiple services.

Operational & Financial Oversight:

· Managemulti-million-pound budgets, optimising costs whileenhancing care quality

· Leadbusiness growth strategies, including mergers, acquisitions, and new service development.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

· MentorRegional Managers, Registered Managers, and Senior Education Leads.

· Forge partnerships withlocal authorities, ICBs, and safeguarding teams.

Essential Experience:

· 5+ years in senior leadership(e.g., Operations Director, Regional Manager) withinsocial care.

· Current or Ex CQC/OfSTED Inspector experience (Essential).

· Proven success inservice expansion, turnaround, or regulatory improvement.

· Strongfinancial acumen(budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis).

· Background inlearning disabilities/complex care(adults & children).

· Qualifications inhealth/social care management(e.g., NVQ Level 7, MBA)

£80,000 - £85,000(negotiable for exceptional candidates).
