ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll ensure a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents and staff feel at home and can perform their duties effectively. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support.

You can expect a variety of tasks as a Head of Maintenance. You'll handle responsibilities within the care home building, gardens, and grounds. Tasks may include fixing leaks, planting bulbs, and liaising with contractors for specialized work. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.

ABOUT YOU
The wellbeing of our residents will be your priority. You should have hands-on property maintenance experience, with at least one trade skill, and the ability to undertake a range of maintenance tasks. Reliability, flexibility, a full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are required.
