A leading healthcare organization in England is seeking an experienced Head of HR to manage the HR function and support the senior management team on strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, be CIPD qualified at Level 7, and will operate mainly on-site. Overview

Head of HR | £60,000 - £70,000 p/a depending on experience • Full time

We are looking for an experienced Head of HR to join the Marbrook/Ardale family. This opportunity will provide the right person with good potential for professional development and growth, and the chance to gain a broad insight into the running and operation of a successful independent healthcare organisation. The post holder will be a key member of the small, established senior management team involved collectively in making business decisions which extend beyond Human resource issues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide people management support across all aspects of the employee life cycle and work collaboratively with managers and colleagues to mitigate organisational risks.
  • Ensure generalist HR duties including disciplinary processes, grievances, absence management, performance management, and employee welfare support are delivered in line with our commitment to excellence and accuracy; be hands on for more complex cases.
  • Be confident in using, maintaining, and reporting from the HRIS (Kronos).
  • Lead and develop the HR team (generalists, recruitment and administrators) and work with the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Operate mainly on-site with occasional home working; be based at one of the sites (Herts, Beds or Rutland) and travel across all sites as required.
Qualifications
  • CIPD qualified (Level 7 minimum)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience line managing/leading an HR function
  • Experience using electronic HR information systems and willingness to learn new systems (we are paperless)
  • Experience in the health or social care sector is desirable but not essential
