We are working on behalf of a long‑established, family‑owned UK organisation to appoint a Head of HR for a senior, strategically influential role.
Our client operates a national, multi‑site business alongside Head Office and operational functions, employing colleagues across a wide range of roles. They are a values‑led organisation with a strong heritage and a clear focus on future growth.
This is a senior leadership role with clear ownership of the people agenda for the organisation's customer‑facing and home‑focused divisions.
Reporting into a senior executive leader, the Head of HR will act as a trusted adviser to the leadership team, ensuring people strategy is aligned with commercial priorities. The role carries genuine accountability for translating business objectives into practical, effective people outcomes, rather than operating purely in an advisory capacity.
The successful candidate will also line manage an HR Business Partner responsible for operational functions, ensuring a joined‑up but appropriately tailored HR approach across the wider organisation.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business, understands the realities of complex, multi‑site environments, and is comfortable owning outcomes in a fast‑moving organisation.
