NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation formerly known as Tayside Health Fund is seeking to appoint a Head of Finance to lead the Finance Team and to maintain strong financial management, underpinned by effective financial controls, ensuring effective stewardship of resources in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements which in turn supports the work of the charity.
The Tayside NHS Board Endowment Fund is currently valued at approximately £37m and comprises over 450 individual funds. Annual investment income is approximately £1.2m and donations and legacies amount to over £1.8m per year. Providing leadership over the portfolio and funds is key to this role. Information‑financial and non‑financial advice to fundholders on all aspects of endowment funds will also be essential. This role will also be the main financial lead for the charity. The postholder will work as part of a wider finance team.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week.
