Job description
The Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly strategic, organized, and proactive Head of Channel Initiatives to serve as a force multiplier for the Global Head of Channel. This pivotal role will be instrumental in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the channel organization, enabling the Global Head to focus on strategy, external engagement, and critical growth initiatives. You will orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration, drive key projects, and ensure the seamless execution of our global channel strategy to achieve our ambitious revenue and market expansion goals.

Key Tasks :
1. Strategic Planning & Initiative Orchestration :
  • Support the Global Head in translating the overarching global channel vision into concrete strategic plans, operational roadmaps, and measurable objectives.
  • Drive and track progress on critical strategic initiatives and projects that span various channel functions (e.g., new program launches, market expansion efforts, major enablement programs, M&A integration impacting partners).
  • Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or interdependencies, ensuring alignment and accountability across regional channel teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
2. Operational Cadence & Rhythm of the Business :
  • Design, manage, and optimize the operational cadence of the channel organization, including strategic planning cycles, QBRs, management team meetings, and key internal/external communications.
  • Oversee the preparation of executive presentations, board materials, and strategic reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely delivery of critical information.
  • Streamline workflows and communication channels within the channel organization and with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, Services) to enhance efficiency.
3. Communication & Stakeholder Management :
  • Act as a central communication point, synthesizing complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences (internal teams, executive management, partners).
  • Manage and prioritize internal and external correspondence for the Global Head, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Facilitate seamless collaboration and information flow between the Global Head and regional channel leaders, as well as with other functional leaders across IFS.
4. Executive Support & Advisory :
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, sounding board, and confidante to the Global Head of Channel, providing objective perspectives and strategic insights.
  • Prepare the Global Head for key meetings, presentations, and external engagements, ensuring all necessary information, context, and materials are available.
  • Where appropriate, act as a proxy for the Global Head in internal meetings, task forces, or discussions, representing their perspective and driving outcomes.
5. Performance Analysis & Problem Solving :
  • Work closely with Partner Operations and Finance to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and channel metrics, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Steer ad‑hoc analysis and problem‑solving efforts on complex challenges or emerging opportunities within the channel, proposing data‑focused solutions.
  • Anticipate future needs and opportunities for the channel organization, proactively developing plans and strategies to address them.
Qualifications : Skills & History :
  • 5 years of history in business operations, strategic consulting, program management, or a Chief of Staff role within a global technology company (SaaS / Enterprise Software preferred).
  • Demonstrable history within or closely with a Channel / Partner organization, understanding partner ecosystems and lifecycle.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking capabilities with a proven ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive execution.
  • Strong analytical acumen, capable of interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and presenting clear, concise recommendations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling executive‑level presentations and distill complex information.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced global environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels across diverse cultures and functions.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity, capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and history working with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and PRM systems.
