Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team in the University's Academic Registry Office. This varied and interesting role will involve completing a range of tasks:

Responsibilities
  • Providing advice to our HE students through our dedicated telephone, e-mail and face-to-face support systems
  • Updating web-based student guidance
  • Maintaining our student records and providing support with the production of student assessments
  • Responding to requests for student information from staff and external bodies in line with the Data Protection Act
  • Experience of working within busy administrative role
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word and Excel
  • Ability to plan, organise and complete work to deadlines and cope well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and desire to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team and without close supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels
  • Previous experience of higher education
