Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant for a 3-6 month contract in Warwickshire. You will support the HSE needs of a manufacturing site, lead ISO audits, and develop documentation. Ideal candidates must have a NEBOSH Certificate and experience in manufacturing environments. The role offers a competitive day rate of £400, outside of IR35.

Qualifications

• Minimum NEBOSH Certificate required.
• Extensive experience in contracting or consulting within manufacturing.
• Ability to think strategically and work operationally.

Overview

HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with a medical manufacturer on the recruitment of a Health and Safety consultant, for an initial 3-6 month period. This role will require someone on site in Warwickshire 3 days per week, and sits outside of IR35 (so will be paid via your own Ltd company).

Responsibilities

• Support day to day HSE needs of a busy manufacturing site
• Lead or support ISO audits
• Write SOPs and related documentation
• Complete a gap analysis initially, then work to close gaps over the next 3-6 months to ensure compliance and safety
• Work closely with the MD and report into C-suite; provide solutions and strategic oversight of how the Health and Safety function could operate within the client in the future

Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
• Extensive experience contracting/consulting in manufacturing environments
• Ability to think strategically and work operationally; willing to roll up sleeves

Remuneration

Day rate of circa £400 per day, outside of IR35.
