Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

The Education Network is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary and secondary schools across Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching or education and want to gain hands-on classroom experience. As a Graduate TA, you will provide support to teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive learning environment and ensuring all students are engaged and supported in their learning. This role offers excellent experience for those who may wish to go on to teacher training in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils in lessons on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Help pupils to stay engaged, motivated, and on track with learning.
  • Provide support to children with additional needs, where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and act as a role model for students.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
  • A recent graduate (any subject considered).
  • A genuine interest in working within education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
