TimePlan Education Manchester is recruiting enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a successful Bury secondary school. This is a perfect stepping stone into teaching for those with degrees in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, Sport, or related subjects.

Role Overview:

You will be supporting teachers across subject departments, providing targeted intervention and working with pupils who need academic stretch or additional academic catch-up. This role will give you unrivalled classroom experience before progressing to teacher training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff across KS3 and KS4 curriculum areas
  • Provide small-group tuition and booster sessions
  • Assist with lesson planning and resource creation
  • Work with pupils preparing for GCSE exams
  • Develop your own subject-specialist knowledge and teaching confidence
  • Support extracurricular clubs and enrichm4ent activities (if desired)
