The current job market can be overwhelming for graduates, but unlike many entry positions, the EKC's graduate scheme offers a variety of innovative opportunities to work while you learn, without any need for prior work experience. We offer a number different Graduate Schemes:

Graduate Schemes
  • Lecturer
  • A-Level Teacher
  • Service Project Management
  • Apprenticeship Trainer

Lecturer, A-Level Teacher and Apprenticeship Trainer Routes

Working in education has the unmatched reward of contributing to your community by supporting young people train in their chosen field, through imparting your newly gained skills to the next generation through teaching and assessing. In addition, we\'ll fully fund your teacher or assessor training alongside your work, so there\'s no need to worry about any further student loans. You can select your subject or industry specialism, and within your registration, you can choose more than one depending on your skills and experience. Most importantly, you\'ll gain industry experience with one of our partner organisations in your chosen sector. Specialists from our partner organisations are not only willing to offer placements to enhance your experience for future opportunities, but insist that holding Teacher and Assessor Qualifications gives an advantage to candidates entering the sectors.

Service Project Management Route This will not be subject specific but is for those from any degree background (with a minimum 2:2 grade) and interested in core services, that support the education sector. You will go through a rotation of services, within which you will complete impactful projects, offering genuine work satisfaction as well as hands-on, wide-ranging learning of multiple departments. A comment from a recent candidate on the Graduate Services Project Management route: "After graduating, I wanted real experience before committing to a career, and the EKC Group Graduate Scheme in Services Project Management offered exactly that, through broad exposure across different services and projects. Just one month into a placement, I\'ve already built skills from recruitment to data analysis, and by the end of the scheme I\'ll have a strong foundation to pursue a range of career paths or further development in education."

Our Graduate Scheme registration is now open to those currently studying or who have recently finished their course in Higher Education. You don\'t have to wait for your last year of study to apply.
