About the Role

Dover Fueling Solutions is seeking a Graduate QA Tester to join our growing team at Fairbanks on a full‑time, permanent basis in Skelmersdale. You will work as part of a large agile software development team—including Data Architects, Software Developers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Software Testers—to deliver world‑leading products to our customers.

What We Do

Wetstock is the process of tracking fuel on a petrol station, from the point it is delivered to when it is sold. At Fairbanks, we collect data from thousands of petrol stations around the globe in real time and load it into systems using the latest cutting‑edge technologies.

This data is run through a series of complex algorithms that help our customers make decisions and drive actions from our team of analysts. Outcomes range from reviewing and actioning alarms, identifying theft, and detecting leaks that could impact the environment.

What You Will Be Part Of

Our engineering team at Fairbanks is responsible for developing and testing a cloud‑based application. We are passionate about the product and service we provide and are always looking to innovate in our industry.

About the Graduate QA Tester

The ideal candidate will have a solid theoretical foundation in both manual and automation testing, with some hands‑on experience in automation testing or coding.

• Experience with programming or scripting in languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman and Selenium
• Passion for quality, with an eye for detail
• Ability to write automation tests
• Experience conducting manual testing such as regression, load, and UI testing
• A portfolio or code repository demonstrating your work is welcome
