Overview

As a Graduate Cloud Engineer, you will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, helping you build core skills in cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps.

Guided by senior engineers and cloud architects, you\'ll assist in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments that meet both technical and business needs. This role is an excellent starting point for a career in cloud engineering, with opportunities to work on real-world projects, adopt best practices, and gain exposure to leading platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and support of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily on Azure with some AWS exposure
  • Support the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and ARM templates
  • Contribute to the automation of cloud infrastructure deployments and updates
  • Help monitor and maintain cloud environments, including performance tuning, cost optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud-hosted platforms and services
  • Maintain and update system documentation and architecture diagrams
  • Learn and apply best practices in cloud security, resilience, and scalability
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud trends, technologies, and pursue relevant certifications
Education & Experience Requirements
  • A Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • A basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
  • Knowledge of Windows system administration
  • Interest in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A strong desire to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic cloud-focused environment
  • Eligibility and willingness to undergo UK Security Vetting at SC level and above
