Job Title: Graduate Air Airframe Engineer

Location: Warton/Samlesbury (Lancashire)

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4-5 days per week.

Salary

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you'll be doing

Graduate Airframe Engineer is split into four disciplines, Aerodynamics, Design, Materials and Structural.

  • Aerodynamics discipline delivers aerodynamic solutions that maintain, develop and apply aerodynamic capability to our aircraft programmes.
  • Design Engineering Discipline is responsible for producing the integrated airframe design definition and physical product design dataset to enable product manufacture, through-life support, qualification, and certification.
  • Materials Engineering Discipline is responsible for materials and process technical support, capability for materials development and manufacturing activities.
  • Structures Engineering discipline is responsible for the definition of initial airframe structural and then to ensure the on-going structural integrity of BAE Systems Air products.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Maths.
