An eye care provider in Bristol is seeking a Governance Manager to oversee corporate governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves auditing, data analysis, and risk management, while fostering a positive governance culture across services. The ideal candidate has experience in governance within healthcare and excellent organisational and communication skills. Compensation ranges from £52,360 to £61,750, with additional benefits including holidays and a pension scheme.

As Governance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory compliance and best‑practice standards. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, Clinical Directors and the Executive Team, key internal departments and external organisations (CQC, ICB's, NHS) to embed robust governance processes across the clinics and surgical theatre environments.
Being the Governance Manager, you'll be a key member of the local management team, supporting quality governance, patient safety, audit and risk across a defined number of services in Bristol and North Somerset.
You’ll play a vital role in embedding a positive governance culture, ensuring services meet CQC standards, and driving continuous improvement through effective use of data, audits, and learning from incidents, complaints and feedback.
This role involves regular travel across sites. This role will be full time on site at our Aztec West clinic and will require a minimum of 4 days per week, Monday - Friday.
