Job summary

A local bakery in the City of London is seeking a part-time staff member for a mixed role, covering both front of house and back of house. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have good personal hygiene, customer skills, and be able to work under pressure. Competitive pay of up to £14 hourly, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6am to 1pm.

Responsibilities

• Mixed role (FOH/BOH).
• Assisting with basic food preparation.
• Cleaning and sanitising all equipment, tableware and utensils.
• Setting up buffet & food areas in a safe and orderly manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform inventory checks.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety protocols.
• Being fully knowledgeable about allergens and their handling.
• Transporting food from the kitchen to the office in a safe and responsible manner.
• As part of the team, you will undertake various activities and represent Maison Gigi in the offices being catered, a well-spoken English as well as knowledge of the products and allergens is essential.

• The regular working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 6am to 1pm or equivalent, changes to the schedule can be made depending on events & holiday calendar.
