Qualifications

  • Support third-party logistics (3PL) performance reviews.
  • Contribute to strategic projects including network optimization.

The successful candidate will support the management and optimisation of logistics spend, contributing to better cost transparency and operational efficiency across our global distribution network.

Essential Duties

  • Analyse global transportation, freight, and warehousing costs to support financial visibility and control.
  • Monitor actual spend versus forecasted budgets, identifying cost drivers and variance explanations.
  • Support month-end close processes by preparing logistics accruals, journal entries, and reports.
  • Maintain logistics cost models and ensure accurate allocation of costs across business units.
  • Work with regional logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities related to logistics and distribution.
  • Support third-party logistics (3PL) performance reviews through cost and service analysis.
  • Contribute to strategic projects including network optimization, mode shift analysis, and tender evaluations.
  • Liaise with customs, trade compliance, and finance teams on duties and tariffs impacting landed cost.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports special cross-functional projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or higher) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across international teams.
  • Keen interest in global logistics operations, freight management, and cost optimization.
  • Right to work in the UK.
