About the Role

The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to work on a supply basis at schools within the Pinnacle Learning Trust, including The Hathershaw College in Oldham. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements within a highly supportive and reputable trust.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Geography, confident in classroom management, and committed to helping students develop their understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on the school)
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and follow school policies
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum
  • Excellent communication and classroom-management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
