Overview

Our client is a market leader in supplying low carbon technology solutions. They are looking for a General Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible, on a day-to-day basis, for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Manchester office. This newly created role will play a central part in leading and shaping the culture within the Manchester office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Manchester office, ensuring a professional and supportive working environment, and alignment with the vision and values.
  • Act as a positive role model for colleagues, leading by example and setting high expectations in relation to conduct and professionalism.
  • Close liaison with Head Office to ensure key messaging is communicated effectively to colleagues in the Manchester office, and in a timely manner.
  • Record, report on and manage expenditure in the Manchester office.
  • Collaborate closely with Account and Client Account Managers to drive business development activities in the region.
  • Responsible for the financial oversight and cost management associated with the office.
  • Proactively drive commercial activities in the region, increasing awareness of the diverse range of low carbon solutions.
