Job summary

A local support organization in Glasgow is seeking a friendly Personal Assistant to assist May, a young woman with autism, with her daily activities. The role involves providing transportation to her engagements and occasionally accompanying her on outings. Job Overview

GCIL.KA/LD/1.26 Personal Assistant for May. May is a friendly and enthusiastic young woman in need of a personal assistant to help her attend the activities she loves. For the most part, you will be driving May to and from her activities, but occasionally if she’s on a break you could also be taking her out to the shops or doing other things she enjoys.

  • Assist with shopping or other outings during breaks.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Patient, calm, and understanding.
  • Experience with people who have autism is helpful.
  • Have a clean driving license. A car will be provided for transport while on shift.
  • Interest in arts, crafts, and horses is a plus.
Working Hours & Pay
  • 20 hours per week, worked over 5 days (Mon–Fri).
  • Shift pattern: 2 hours in the mornings (8.30AM – 10.30AM) and 2 hours in the afternoons (2.30PM – 4.30PM).
  • Hourly rate £12.60.
  • Based in Castlemilk; ideally you are nearby.
