Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in gas and oil boiler servicing, breakdowns, and repairs
• Installation experience (preferred but not essential)
• General plumbing skills (preferred but not essential)
• Valid Gas Safe registration
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant industry qualifications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain gas and oil heating systems in line with current safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs, ensuring systems are left in good working order
• Undertake general plumbing and basic multi-trade tasks
• Identify risks and implement appropriate safety plans and risk assessments
• Use modern technology (tablet/smartphone) to complete job records and communicate updates
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to provide excellent service
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including van and uniform
• Participate in the out-of-hours rota as required
