Future Teachers Wanted - Graduate Teaching Assistant Roles
Location: Newport & Cwmbran
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Part-time and flexible ad hoc work in line with your diary! Term-Time
Pay: £90 - £130 per day (depending on responsibilities & experience)

Want to gain hands-on school experience before applying for PGCE, Schools Direct or Teach First? We're recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in thriving secondary schools across Newport and Cwmbran. These roles are tailored for graduates who aspire to become teachers and want to develop real classroom skills while earning a competitive daily rate.

Responsibilities
  • Two Routes - Choose Your Level of Responsibility
  • Classroom Support — £90-£100 per day: Support teachers with small group and 1:1 interventions, help pupils engage with lessons, and promote positive behaviour.
  • Classroom Lead / Cover Supervisor — £110-£130 per day: Step up and take the lead in the classroom when teachers are absent. Deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage behaviour, and keep learning on track.
