Qualifications

  • Must have one year's post-registration experience in relevant fields.

  • Location requirement: Based in NI, Wales or the Midlands of the UK.

  • Conduct assessments via paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone.
  • Write clear, evidence-based reports daily.
  • Provide justifications to support NIDFC decisions.

Overview

Functional Assessor (WCA)
Location: Lisburn

Hours: 37.5hrs per week (9AM-5PM, flexible start time)
Salary: Full time - £38,500 - £39,500 + Significant Overtime bonus!!!

Overtime incentive
  • £50 per case
  • £200 bonus for completing 10 additional cases in a month period – earn an extra £700
  • £500 bonus for completing 20 additional cases in a month period - earn an extra £1500

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct paper-based, face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments.
  • Write clear, evidence-based reports (400-500 words), 5 per day + optional overtime.
  • Provide detailed justifications to support NIDFC decisions.
Essential Criteria
  • One year's post-registration experience as a Nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor
  • Fully registered with NMC or HCPC
  • Based in NI, Wales or the Midlands of the UK
