Overview

Full-time Secondary P.E. Teacher Needed in East Birmingham.

Start date: September 2025 - Ongoing

Responsibilities

• Take on a timetable which will include all year groups within the secondary range and ideally A-Level (KS5) classes.
• Cover maternity absence initially, with potential for further work at the school for the right candidate.
• Possible involvement in cover supervision and teaching willingness to cover other subjects within secondary education as part of the weekly timetable.
• Deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum.
• Manage pupil behaviour effectively and implement strategies with a class of up to 30 children.

Qualifications

• QTS or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma.
• Experience in the sports coaching and/ or education sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management.
