A local beauty salon in Wadebridge is seeking a qualified therapist to provide a range of beauty treatments. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, managing reception duties, and maintaining salon hygiene. The ideal candidate should have NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualifications, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are a high street salon providing an excellent range of treatments to an established client base as well as visitors to the area. All our treatments are done in large private rooms to promote a sense of relaxation and privacy. Our treatments include all types of waxing including intimate on females, standard, luxury and CND Shellac manicures and pedicures, facials, massage including hot stones, eye treatments including tinting, lash lifting and eyelash extensions, and electrolysis.
The position will involve carrying out treatments to a high standard, promoting the salon and our services along with retailing products and upselling treatments. You will be required to work on reception as well as undertake clients’ treatments. You will be required to contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene of the whole salon as part of the team. This position is for 40 hours per week and has fixed days, and you will be required to work one later evening and one day at the weekend.
We are looking for a therapist with excellent customer service skills, who can make every one of our customers feel comfortable within the salon environment. From the initial contact, right through to the treatments completion whilst building a relationship to create a loyal client base.
You will be enthusiastic, passionate about Wellness, work exceptionally well in a team and be able to work within a fast-paced salon environment, whilst taking pride in yourself and your work.
You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent and be prepared to gain extra qualifications as required to provide a complete range of treatments. ELEMIS training and experience would be a distinct advantage.
